Leonard Bernstein at 100

2018 marks the 100th birthday of world-renowned composer, conductor, and musician Leonard Bernstein. We are thrilled to be celebrating with Arena Stage and The Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage to bring you "BERNSTEIN AT 100: THE THEATRE SONGS OF LEONARD BERNSTEIN." DIrected and choreographed by Pauline Grossman and musical directed by N. Thomas Pedersen, this 55-minute review style show will give the audience a journey into his well-known theatrical music, including an exciting glimpse into some of his exceptional songs that are not as well-known.

Included in the evening will be pieces from West Side Story, A Party with Comden and Green, Wonderful Town, Peter Pan, The Lark, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and others. The evening will feature students from our Musical Theatre Division, and be accompanied by students from the Catholic University Symphony Orchestra.
